On Monday evening Luke and I probably got to knock out the BEST part of planning a wedding—cake tasting! Making a decision was pretty tough!
she even sent us home with extra’s!
So, if you read my blog on a regular basis… you would know that lately I’ve had some & still have more dental work that awaits me. I’m not even kidding when I tell you that once all is said and done we will have dropped $5,000.00 on MY MOUTH. It makes me absolutely sick. With it being so unexpected we definitely had to make a MAJOR cut back in our wedding planning (which really wasn’t over the top extravagant to begin with). We both wanted a very laid back, low key wedding. ANYWAYS, with that unexpected expense, we decided to cut the catering.
We’ve come up with an alternative plan. Will our wedding guests starve… HA, absolutely not! We came up with a great solution, but I guess you’ll have to come to the wedding to find out!
Ohhh! I’m intrigued by what you have come up with!! Am I invited to the wedding?? (JK) =) Sorry to hear about all of your dental work – it’s disgusting how expensive it can be to have work done on your mouth. Glad that you are staying upbeat and positive about the whole situation!!! At least you will have a beautiful smile on your big day! =)

Taking care of your health/teeth is waaaaaay more important than catering food for your wedding guests. We’re there for you because we love you guys and are happy to celebrate an amazing day of your new lives together!

Lol – I’m imagining luke and courtney walking through supermarkets/costco/sams collecting food samples to reserve at their wedding. NOT that you guys would ever do that – but that’s the thought that happened after this comment from diana :)
Can’t wait to hear what the alernative to catering is. Those cupcakes look amazing. I could eat all of them in one sitting. Or at least that sounds good now. I gave up sweets/junk etc for lent and I can’t wait to eat cake!
